Maddy met this gentle sandy-coloured mare recently after visiting friends and says she found meeting the pony very healing.
She says: "When these photos were taken I was feeling really sad after some difficult personal circumstances and I was staying with my friends in the countryside. Instinctively I thought "horse" as I knew seeing one and being together would make me feel better, and we connected together. I stayed for hours with this beautiful pony, and felt very restored afterwards. Horses and ponies have a special energy and if you tune in you can connect and it feels amazing."
